That’s All Maj Wrote is written my Maj (that’s me!) and was set up as a way to escape the real world.
In general, there’s not much to say about me. By day, I’m a crime fighting, primary school teacher; by night, I’m a TV binge watcher and Kit Kat Chunky eater.
Over the past few years, I’ve had a pretty big fight with my mental health – something I’m very open about – and have been trying to climb back up off the floor after being kicked by life a few times. I would never change or wish away the experiences that I faced, but sometimes it would be nice if I hadn’t have had to experience them…
As far as blogging goes, I’m a bit of a serial blogger. Since 2013, I’ve blogged around a lot of different parts (I doubt that you’ll recognise me though), but it turned into too much of a chore and something that I loathed. I figure something I enjoy shouldn’t be hated this much, so I left. And, to be honest, I’ve missed it nearly every day since.
I decided I still needed a creative outlet, but one that didn’t bring me so much hate and guilt attached. I’d got so swept up in the ‘prettiness’ and ‘fad’ of blogging, that I was changing who I was, what I believed in, as well as what I wanted my blog to be. So, that’s when That’s All Maj Wrote was created.
I intend for That’s All Maj Wrote to be a guilt free zone. A quiet slice of the internet for me to get my thoughts out on hypothetical paper, as writing helps relieve my ‘itch’ (I’m not sure what else to call it) when things get dark. A place that I can just do me and not really care about what else is going on in the blogging world.
Will it stick? Probably not. But, at least I tried.
